Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corp Member
Sydney joins Arundel Rivers as the 2024-2025 Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps Member. She graduated with honors from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2023 and majored in Environmental Studies and Anthropology. She is currently working towards her M.S. in Land Resources and Environmental Science from Montana State University. Throughout college, Sydney captained the women’s varsity rowing team, worked on SMCM’s campus farm, and interned at various environmental nonprofits. She found her appreciation for aquatic habitats through her early mornings on the St. Mary’s River and is excited for that to continue as her new chapter with Arundel Rivers begins. In her free time, she enjoys rowing, being outdoors, and playing with her dogs and cats.
