Green Careers Fair at Quiet Waters Park

Are you passionate about caring for the environment? When you think of your future, do you envision yourself working to protect our natural world? If so, look no further! On August 1st, Arundel Rivers Federation is hosting a Green Careers Day at Quiet Waters Park to introduce middle and high school students to a variety of careers in the hopes of uncovering the path that leads them to their dream profession. This event entails a walk to two restored streamline projects, along with multiple guest speakers from different environmental disciplines, including park staff, engineers, construction specialists, and more. Come prepared to learn, and leave with a newfound confidence in your future!

From this event you will learn invaluable information on how to progress in the discipline of your choosing. It is incredibly important for students to have access to a network of people in the professions they are interested in pursuing, of which this event will provide. From careers that do require a college degree to those that don’t, there is something in the environmental field for you.
