Please help us welcome our 2025 Summer Interns! This summer we will be hosting these two incredible additions to our team through August.
Sean Moore will spend the summer with our Education and Outreach team. He is a current undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University studying environmental engineering and applied math, with an interest in spreading awareness about environmental issues. He has experience with community engagement through working with the Youth Climate Institute and a local recycling non-profit, which he hopes to leverage in supporting Arundel Rivers’ education programs. In his free time, Sean enjoys hiking, bouldering and listening to music!
Tommy Westbrook will serve as the 2025 Water Quality Monitoring Intern. He is currently a senior at University of Oregon studying Environmental Design with a minor in Environmental Science. Tommy is an accomplished student athlete completing his third year on the UO Rowing team. He enjoys cycling, hiking, and camping, taking full advantage of Oregon’s beautiful wilderness.Tommy’s academics focus is on sustainable urban design and environmental conservation having worked with local legislators to help make the city of Eugene, OR more sustainable. Originally being from the east coast, Tommy is excited to spend the summer working on the rivers he grew up on.
