Rachel Beall
Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corp Member
Rachel joins Arundel Rivers Federation as the 2025-2026 Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps Member. She graduated with honors from Washington College on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 2025, where she majored in Environmental Science and Mathematics with a minor in Chesapeake Regional Studies. In college, Rachel studied herbalism, permaculture, and beekeeping through the Washington College campus garden, worked as a yoga instructor, and conducted a 4-year study of Redhead SAV restoration. Through her SAV research, Rachel became passionate about grant writing, project development, climate change mitigation, and ecological restoration.
Living on the Chester River and studying the Chesapeake Bay in college has inspired Rachel to pursue a career in environmental restoration and research, and she is beyond excited to start this new chapter with Arundel Rivers. Outside of work, Rachel loves to do anything outdoors (hiking and gardening in particular!), traveling, and curling up with a cup of tea and a good book.
