Donors never have to pay capital gains on the appreciated stock and receive a deduction equal to the fair market value of the stock at the time the transfer. Yes, Arundel Rivers Federation is registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation. Your donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes. After making a donation you receive a recognition letter in the mail as proof of donation. If you donate online, you will also receive a confirmation of your donation via email immediately following your donation.
